obedience before understanding.

Lord the lesson is hard
the one You're teaching me now
to rest in Your presence,
please show me, how?
for my heart is restless
&my thoughts never cease
Father, lead me
to trust in Your peace.
i know You are here
that You are helping me stand
in this weary world,
take my hand.
help me to obey
even if i don't know why,
let my words reach Your ears,
God, hear my cry.

&hat Your love never fails
even in doubt,
i know my God prevails.

so, i've graduated college.
now, here it is
i am now in the presence of
this looming question
"what's next?"
sure, i have my quips
but the honest response,
what i desire to say is,
"wouldn't you like to know."
&the truth is,
wouldn't i like to know.
will it be a plot twist?
will it be a transistion?
will it...
will i...
here is the truest answer i know
is this question.
how will You, Father God, use me?
do i even need to know?
may i focus on my Leader
may my "next" be obviously Yours.
